Cummins Gone From KARK
Well it looks as though KARK can stop telling viewers Brett Cummins is off mourning the loss of his friend....he is now unemployed. Though the station is likely not making this public but the fact his bio has been pulled from the KARK website is proof enough!
Additional: Arkansas Business.com reports Cummins resigned from the station Friday. The article says the station confirms Cummins isn't employed there anymore but refused to comment if he resigned...or something else!

According to a statement released by his attorney,he has resigned from his position at KARK-TV in Little Rock.

KARK pooh-poohed the story. KATV went for the jugular!!! 4 has lost my respect for it's so called investigative prowess and they have promoted that for a while now. If you don't do it, don't say you are when you're not!!!!!!!!
They couldn't investigate a goat roping. What a bunch of bull. They need to investigate why some of their on-air people keep saying Nyune instead of Noon and Nyews instead of News. Listen to the intro of NBC Nightly News and get the way the network people sound. They make more money in a month than these locals will make in a lifetime.

This is a prime example of what happens when you decide to be a public figure. You are put under a microscope. It's part of the job.
All I was trying to say was he was trouble to begin with. He had been fired once. If he was a met that wasn't on TV then this probably wouldn't be a big deal, but that's not the case. He was on TV. Kids do watch the news. Therefor the anchors and mets do have to uphold some sort of standard. He obviously didn't make the cut.
He has lost his job, a close friend and has embarrassed himself. What more do you want? Let's move on. I'm sure he is hurting more than you can imagine. If they admitted to illegal drug use and someone died as a result, then aren't they both guilty of negligent homicide?
Some of the judgmental comments here lead me to believe that several people on this site might never have had sex at all, let alone in a hot tub. You know..the type of guy who spends his evenings alone watching porn and being jealous that other people actually have real sex lives.

My bet is that those of you who say we are judgmental, are in fact gay. The fact is that drug use led to his death and they chose to use drugs in their lifestyle. They are responsible for his death in my opinion and I hope they are prosecuted.
It will be an injustice to the victim's family if Cummings is not prosecuted for illegal possession and negligent homicide.
I'm the poster at 4:32. I'm not gay, and I don't do drugs. My point was that we should not throw stones...especially until we know what killed the young man. And even then, there was another person in the house, too, besides Brett. The same few people on here seem to think that drugs and wild sex are limited to gay people. So what are you blaming? @10:34 p.m. - According to an article I read and was written today, the Arkansas Crime Lab told CNN the autopsy report should be finished in about a week.
I blame those that chose to break the law by taking illegal drugs during a gay sex party. What is hard to figure out about that? You must be a liberal.

About 60-70% of all the men I have been with are either married, or married with children. Several of whom are very well known locally, state, and nation wide. Of all the men I have ever been with it's only the supposed "straight men" who are into all the kinky and freaky sex, not the gay men.
Karma always has a way of coming back on people and you never see it coming until it has already happened. So keep drinking your Hateraide, and casting your stones, and doing your little superior dance.

I am 57 years old, and when I think back to all of the men with whom I have had sexual contact and those made some overture or outright propositions, I am convinced that the vast majority of men are just as bisexual as myself. I am very secretive and conservative and pass for completely straight, but I keep silent and do not make these hateful comments, even anonymously. My attitude is ask me no questions and I will tell you no lies. I feel sure that the people making these "ewww" and "yuck" comments here engage in same sex behavior when it suits them. The fact that he was doing illegal drugs in the first place is the reason people are upset! Now, if the ME report says that it was indeed drug overdose, which it will likely be, then that even further solidifies everything that we're saying on here. Yeah, I really have pity for the guy, I really, truly do. But he had to have known this would come back to bite him in the behind sooner or later.
