KARK Goes HD Next Week
Well I can't find the Facebook post right now but this morning I read a post on KARK's page that it will debut in HD next week. KARK will be the third, behind KLRT and KTHV, to broadcast local news in HD!

and good old KATV will be bringing up the rear....their master plan is to be 16x9 SD by may. way to set your goals high

Let's see if they can get more than 720i out of their cameras. Will they have a Weather Terrace from the roof of their building with the capitol in the background that makes them look like they are at the capitol?
If only KARK could get a cat.....that would be awesome.....

Good luck with that. The only thing that HD brings to local news is a bigger picture. Same reporting, same stories, same everything just a sharper image. Just an insiders view having worked in the market over a decade. The best thing the stations can do is try actually working towards content and not image. It is a lot of money spent on something to market and package all up and say pay us more money and we won't pay are people who actually do the work anything more.
Out of focus THV weather garden camera Sunday at 5:30. Kinda hard to focus them surveillance cams on everything I guess.
