KTHV to Host "Garden Parties"
Arkansas Business.com reports KTHV will start airing "THV Garden Parties" during the noon news program one Wednesday a month. Channel 11 General Manager Larry Audas tells AB.com, "We will end the news; the news will be over,we'll have commercial break; we'll come back and run this sponsored segment."The 5 minute spot will be hosted by THV Sales Manager Mike Jenkins and will focus on home safety. The program will be sponsored by Little Rock Company Electric Solutions.

Gonna set my DVR for this one! Gee, I wonder what the theme song will be..
Seriously? If I were going to throw a party in my backyard for the literally dozens of people that will watch this abomination of a show I would at least make sure I would light it correctly and have quality equipment. Oh and by the way, someone needs a spelling lesson.

It appears that this is just a ploy to get some viewers to watch a sponsored segment of their Noon show. If the interview is going to be held in that set that looks like a salvaged piece of someone's house, it will be a joke. At least try and get the studio light reflections out of the fake windows. This has to be the worst designed and worst lit set on local television, ever.
I agree on the THV's Garden Shack. its not professional, and the colors are Black and White pillows and couch?!.! Why not lots of color for your first in HD!! and I hate that sign above the weather chroma key screen that "THV's Weather Garden", thats written by some 3 year old kid. How about raising the bar and your standards 11? If you have good programming then you won't have to sell cheap commercials.
I can hear the decision makers at THV now . . . "I know what let's do. Let's have the weather people on THV wear green shirts and green pants and see how that looks in our weather garden."
Weather people, we know it's not your fault for the set and lighting. You have to work with what "they" give you.

What's next? Hmmmm ... maybe a Buns of Steel Infomercial to start to the newscast. What a joke. Wait this is the same station that hired a "backpack journalist" that was the High School Broadcaster of the year right? What a joke. Channel 11 is not worth the blog space on here.

Bring back Beth Ward and let her host the show. I watched her selling apartments on channel 4's Tracy & Co. She had better on air presence than Tracy Douglass. Tracy should start looking for a career change.
How much older is Tracy than Beth? I think I saw something like ten years.
Beth always has a nice hair style and comes across to the viewer as a well-seasoned broadcaster.
