KHBS/KHOG-TV Gets New Anchor...
From KHBS/KHOG Jay Plyburn joins 40/29 News as anchor/reporter. Plyburn will anchor 40/29 news at 5:30, 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. on weekends and report for 40/29 news and 4029tv.com.
Plyburn served as an anchor/reporter for KMID-TV in Midland, Texas, since 2008. Plyburn is an accomplished multi-media journalist, regularly writing, shooting and editing news stories while also occasionally filling-in as a weather and sports anchor.
“Jay’s many talents, and his passion for telling great stories will bolster both our weekday and weekend news coverage,” said Brian Sather, KHBS/KHOG President and General Manager. “I’m delighted Jay will be joining our newsroom,” said 40/29 TV’s News Director, Dawn Dugle. “Jay’s contributions will help us immediately expand our already thorough local news coverage to both Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas viewers.”

What happened to Tiffany Stewart and the guy who filled in for her? He deserved the job, rather than the new guy.
Don't know for sure, but I think Tiffany got PO'd when she didn't get the anchor job when Donna Bragg left. She filled in while the suits were looking elsewhere.
It's a sign of the times over at 40/29. New management has run off some good people, and more are expected to leave in 2011. Stay tuned.

The assistant news director is leaving the week of Christmas, and Kyle Cabodi is leaving the first week of January.
Jim Prestwood should have stayed.

I FEEL SORRY for anyone who has to work under DAWN DUGLE.
Dawn Dugle is as UGLY on the inside as she is outside. She's EVIL, the most INCOMPETENT news director EVER, she treats her employees HORRIBLY, and she's the reason why 90 percent of KHBS/KHOG's newsroom staff has left.
A bit of advice for Anchors/ Reporters/Producers/Meteorologists, if you're looking for employment, and you happen to see the name "Dawn Dugle News Director" listed ANYWHERE, RUN as fast as you can and NEVER look back!
Believe me there's no amount of money listed on a contract worth working for Dawn Dugle.
I promise you'll regret signing any contract with her, I know I DO!
