Wow, the November sweeps wrap up and the tv folks start to leaving. In the Shreveport Market, tipsters say, Shannon Royster left KSLA yesterday.

This has been known for a while. Nothing really new about it. If you want to uncover something, find out why Michelle White was off the air at KTAL for about 2 months. The station is not saying a word about this.
Who knows, Michelle may have been sick or a love one who was terminally ill and she wanted it to remain quiet.
I completely understand that about Michelle. However, I don't believe that management handle it well at the station. They need to get control of her...just look at the cover of the recent Inquisitor. I feel sorry for her and I do wish her the best...but these actions are uncalled for her.
So what's the scoop on Shannon leaving?
Michelle doesn't remain quiet about anything unless it is going to make her look bad and before she lets that happen she will try and persuade others before the issue becomes public.
so what are the details....rumor is that she was fired.

Well maybe and maybe not. There's a difference 'tween getting fired and being let go and sometimes folks get to say goodbye to save face. But I got a hunch she left on good terms for something better. Did anyone see her farewall speech on air? Any indication what she's going to do next or did she decide to bail on the biz?
I think they only brought her back is so that they didn't have to chance the news open *with Michelle White and Todd Warren....hahahah
Shannon said she was moving to Pittsburgh to be near family.
Well bummer that she's leaving. I always thought she did a good job as news-reader. Pleasant voice and delivery. I recall when she first came here, her hairstyle wasn't right but they fixed that after a bit. She's got the goods for newsreading so she should land somewhere in PA.
Shannon likes being on TV. I believe her contract was up and they did not renew it. When you are on TV today and the next day you are not...that mean you been fired.
Who's this new gal Dominique at KSLA doing evening news? I can't believe they let those eyelashes on-air like that. Those are serious fly-catchers she's got on those lids.
Her delivery is fine but my wife commented on the fake lashes are "too much", I agree...is this look hot with Af-American viewers? It looks waay fake to us.
Gawd... we saw a KTAL newscast with MeeShell and the way she was acting...you'd think she was on meds. Weird, creeepy laughing at a newspackage that, while it was humorous; it wasn't THAT FUNNY! Todd was good at not-reacting too much to her, had to be one of those "awkward moments".
