KATV Gets on HD Bandwagon
In a press release KATV announced today it is set to begin presenting its newscasts in HD. The press release fails to mention just when this will begin, just states the station is in the final stages. It's a race in the Little Rock market to see who will be first.

When KATV donated and moved their ancient tape archives recently to the UA, that was a major tip that something was in the works.
They need to use the money elsewhere. Hey here's an idea, hire professional reporters and anchors!
Why is katv doing their evening newscast live from the river market? They started doing this on Monday.
katv needs to do some type of upgrade...watching them with that old analog video is like looking through a coke bottle
Rest assured, KATV will spare little expense. They will buy the cheapest, 4 year old (or older)hand me down outdated equipment they can get for half price. That's been their model for many years and shows no sign of changing.

NO, he's still draggin around...took Finne's office on the third floor though and made him move to basement with the rest of the dungeon dwellers....
Wonder what they do with all those useless titles up in the newsroom: like ferrel...what does he actually do again? I mean besides telling everyone that he's the boss and misspelling Illinois....just wonderin'.....

It appears she may be looking for a play boy bunny gig. Don't think the attire will get her much respect as a T V anchor.
Love the newscasts that are live from the river market. Hope they keep it up.

Someone needs to tell the other one it's not July anymore. Sleeveless dress with go-go boots in 35 degree weather! Then there's the curl that NEVER moves from the breast. She was once so professional.
KTHV just went HD. Very nice and about time. I'm not sure HD will help channel 7 some reason I think it'll still be blury. Beth will look even hotter when they get it wired up.
