New Sportscaster Hired in NWA
This from a tipster: Derek Ruscin's replacement at KNWA, as weekday sports reporter and weekend sports anchor, is Adam Alter, who spent the last 2 years at KSNT in Topeka. Syracuse alum.

I saw him the other night. He will need to get connected to the U of A to work there but his delivery is good.

Spinoff - who are some female sports reporters/anchors that the state of Arkansas has had? Courtney Timmons (FOX 24) and Adria Goins (KFSM) are the only ones I know of but I've only recently started watching local news.
Meredith Mitchell would be an incredible sports reporter! She's HOT!
Kelly Cocoa. Although that was very short at KATV. Late 90's or early 2000's?
I forgot about Kelly. She only appeared on KATV a few times and I remember it was very shaky.

Courtny Timmons is the best. I dont know why she puts up with KNWA/KARK's crap. Management does not know what they have in her. Take it from me...I hear it's a man's club over there and she gets F&^%#$. I"d hate to see her leave this market, but they wont be able to hold onto her. And NO, this is NOT Courtny.
I'm usually skeptical of female sports reporters (most on local news and some on ESPN appear/sound like they have stuff written for them), but Timmons is legit at this...

Katie Felts used to work at KFSM.
She's now a weekend anchor/reporter in St. Louis. She also does sideline reporting for the local Cardinals telecasts.
Adam Alter is by far the best sports anchor in the state.
