THV Told to Cease "Dirty Jobs" Series
This from a tipster: KTHV Dirty Jobs series cut short due to a cease and disist order from the Discovery Channel. THV had promoed Arkansas Dirty Jobs on their web site, and had a few taped and ready for air, but the Discovery Channel heard of the plan and cut it short fast. I am curious how Gannett would have approved this with the title "Dirty Jobs" owned by Discovery.

its a rule as old as tv, take other people's ideas and PUT YOUR OWN NAME ON THEM!!!!! thats how its supposed to be done.

But it really gave Craig credibility as a real journalist. Watching him dig through the trash pile at the Waste Management landfill let me know how serious that both he and management are about the public's perception of Craig. He's a nice and funny guy but he has no place in an anchor position.
I sincerely hope this doesn't affect the career of Meredith Mitchell in any way!!! Meredith is the hottest thing going in the LR area and THV is incredibly lucky to have her!!!
