Not bad..only 7 months after THV.

When will they do something original?

Do you think the 20 people that will use this service really gives a sh*& that THV started it 7 months ago? Get a life!

Original poster here..

I totally agree with you! I laugh at THV2. It's pretty boring stuff. If they could use it to cover live events it would cater to more viewers.

They may have 23 viewers that sit and watch that stuff.
I have a life and it doesn't revolve around tv.

THV is too cheap to hire enough people to make THV2 worth watching. It's a ton of work for those who are already doing all the work for the regular broadcasts. If they are going to have this service, they need to work on other than a skeleton crew to make it worth watching.

Both of them really are bad. Why would anyone waste their time? And you would think that with all the bad weather that they would be using their .2 channels to stay on the air non-stop, but all I keep seeing is nothing. Maybe a radar screen, but no one to tell me what's going on. It is really bad. What dumbass came up with doing these other stations?

(yawn)
The only people that can view this over the air station are people in the path of katv's low power digital antenna aimed at WLR.

This allbritton station is the only commercial station in LR that still doesn't have a full power digital transmitter yet.

allbritton sucks

Better get your digital converters and what not. Come Baskeball season you're going to have to watch Lost on the digital channel

This has been on for a couple of months now, not much to it, but it's better than wasting bandwidth on an SD simulcast like they were doing before. And we'll be lucky if we get Lost on the substation, it's true that they CAN do it that way, but I doubt that they WILL.
Oh, and while I never sit and watch either THV2 or Seven News Now, I will tune tune them for a quick look at the weather now and then.

forget THV... hmm.. looks like channel 7 has decided to continue to 'rape' FOX 16 for ideas! not to mention... all the other local stations following suit. anyone heard of FOX 16 "NOWcast?" it's been on for quite some time.

WOW, it looks like channel seven is hard up for new ideas...

Just because you had it first doesn't mean you have exclusivity. But then again if it's on fox 16 it's always an exclusive, right?

Uhm, channel 7 called their weather computer thing Nowcast like years ago. If you're going to bash teh competition maybe you should watch something other then the OC and Logo.

If you punks work for a commercial affiliate station, you should have your butts kicked. The digital channels although infant in stage, will be your future paychecks...the same wage you're griping about. And someone is working to make it happen, while your lazy bohunks are sitting around and doing negative blogging. The new spoiled generation just doesn't understand growing something from the ground up...they just want two clicks or less. It's time you did something right...try to find your A$$ with both hands.

Now that KATV is all new, here's a story idea: What happened to Paul Eell's blood sample, sent for a tox screen and mysteriously "lost"? This one smells real bad.

You people are rude, childish, delusional, misguided, and closed minded. Truly representative of the majority of people in news media. And the reason I am repeatedly ashamed I work in the industry also.

10:58 You're an idiot. Anyone who thinks there is a cover up about Paul really needs their head examined.

BTW, todays paper had the autopsy results, nothing out of the ordinary.

Once again, you're an idiot.
