Hello?! Most big markets do that stuff. I did my first stand up in the sixth grade with a similar program, and look at me now!!!

I could only think that whoever watches over the babies feels like a babysitter.

You're right! I guess they should put their weatherman at the piano and have him try to sell cds.

Speaking from the marketing side, this either works or it doesn't. In some markets they can tolerate an eight year old giving them the weather, but in others, they want a "trained professional" doing it. The public will decide.

Besides some of the "trained professionals" can act like eight year olds.

When i want an eight year-old I watch the weekend guy on Fox 16.

I'll bet ALL of the 6 through 11 year olds who participate can spell, speak, and put a sentence together that is grammatically correct. What's your excuse? Maybe YOU should do a little soul searching on the "growing up."

It's obvious you have serious emotional and psychological issues (because you're too old to participate in kidcaster and/or were picked last in kickball) surely it's time to get some much needed help.

Don't you recognize a ratings ploy when you see one? Helloooooooo!!!!! the May and July Books are comin'up.

I think it's a good idea too.
If these kids really can speak and spell and put a sentence together, maybe they can teach Win a thing or two.

you know, cheesy as it may be (and personally i think it's kinda cool), i'm willing to bet that at least half the kids who audition and their families become KTHV viewers on a regular basis, if they aren't already...probably more...how stupid is that???

p.s. i also want to add that all you guys who sit here and rip everyone to pieces (and i think there's only about a half dozen of ya, but ya sure are VOCAL), why are you not a news director at some national network instead of here in arkansas if you know everything about what works and why and who should be on the air...i know you're reading this blog page and i am waiting for your response!!!!!!!!!
