Former KTAL ND Passes Away

Newsblues reports, "Gordon Grafton, former news director at Shreveport's KTAL-6-NBC, died in his sleep Monday following a lengthy illness that baffled doctors for more than a year. Docs now say he may have been a victim of the tick-borne Lyme's disease."

Additional: A story on KTAL's website adds additional information: "Gordon joined KTAL in the late 80s, working as a reporter then sports anchor. In 1982, he was named news director and remained in that role until 1997. At the time, he became regional director for the Easter Seal Society, serving both in Texarkana and Shreveport. Gordon was 46 years old."
