Guess Who Co-anchored 'Live at Five' on KATV
I guess it may be safe to assume that Christina Munoz has been given the 5 and 6pm anchor chair left vacant by the departure of Kate Sullivan. Munoz is anchoring 'Live at Five' with Scott Inman. Now will Munoz be on the 10pm newscast?Additional: After watching today's first edition with Inman and Munoz, it has the same feel as when Sullivan was in the chair. Munoz has as many, 'hello's, hi's, thank's, and thank you's' in her as Kate Sullivan did. Am I the only one that finds all those salutations irrating as all get out!!! All the non-sense talk slows the transitions.

KATV has Beth Hunt, why would they not promote her? If Christina gets the 5 & 6, let Beth take the 10, although she is more than deserving of the 5 & 6.
Beth Hunt's personal issues will keep her out of the anchor chair.
Anne Pressly is the logical choice for the anchor at 10. Smart and savvy, she's a class act.

No one else there can do it. None of the female reporters are ready to step up, and Beth is great but they have all but forgotten about Daybreak. Same old story there.
Look at what happened to Ms. Grayson. She thought she might get the call up at some point, but alas, Daybreak is all but forgotten.

Daybreak has not done well with Beth Hunt on it, so why would they promote her? I think she would be ok, but don't these people have to prove themselves before getting promoted? Christina has done well at 10, therefore she is "ratings proven". Daybreak can't boast of big ratings even with all the knee jerk changes they have made.
they'll probably hire someone outside of the station. Anne is too young and inexperienced. Beth is not that great! There have to be more people to choose from out there.

I don't think Munoz has the 5 & 6 just yet. I think they will make more changes in the near future... we'll see!

I'm just going to put this question out there: what are the chances of Pam Smith anchoring the 5 and 6?
If Pam asks then there will be a long search with focus groups in hopes of finding the right ammo to tell her "No". If Pam doesn't apply then there will be no focus groups and Beth Hunt will get the job because she's already been promised it.
If Pam Smith is gets the 5 & 6 newscast, I and many others will "NEVER" watch channel 7.
She needs taken off the weekend too.

It never ceases to amaze me how really stupid people read this blog. I've known Pam for years and what this poor exuse for a person stated could be no further from the truth. I would like to see Pam get either the 5, 6 or 10 personally. She deserves it for sure. And as for Mr/Mrs "I'll never watch" PLEASE go watch something else...Veggietales or Teletubbies should fit you nicely.
If Pam does apply and doesn't get the job (again)....will she file ANOTHER lawsuit against KATV?

This KATV hate never ceases to amaze. They are a quality station who...like any other business......do make personnel mistakes from time to time. You haters out there can dream that 7 will take the same fall 4 did....not gonna happen! They will right the ship and dominate again sooner or later. I also predict 4 will eventually put 11 back in their rightful 3rd place.

No she is not.........but her ex-boyfriend had to ask her to get married after he knocked her up! Way to go Beth!
