KFSM Confuses Bono with the Other Bono
Arkansas Business.com is running this article:
"KFSM reported that Sonny Bono had made Time magazine’s list of “Persons of the Year.” But Sonny Bono, a singer who was married to Cher, died in a snow skiing accident in 1998.
Time’s 2005 honoree was Paul Hewson, lead singer for the rock band U2, who goes simply by the name Bono. Hewson was tagged with the nickname “Bono Vox” in high school. It was the name of a hearing aid store in Dublin, Ireland, and fittingly means “good voice” in Latin.
At least KFSM showed the right Bono’s picture with the story."

This is exacly why I referred to the KFSM news as "Hillbilly Roundup" when I lived in Fayetteville.....LOL!
Let me make it clear, message to Channel 5's GM Van Comer, stop confusing your elderly viewers, they may not want to fill out your biased nielsen diaries which were so far off this past November on distribution that the book should have been thrown out. How is it that both Benton and Washington counties, which make up 51% of the total HH’s in the DMA, were under sampled by 4 and 5%? Conversely, Sebastian and Crawford counties were swayed in the positive direction. There's no way you can get a real representation when you under sample the heavily populated areas in your DMA.....

I think its a stab at 40/29 since they call themselves "your hometown news".
The truth be told, KFSM did put up very solid numbers in the November book.

When the book is slanted toward the River Valley they should put up numbers....the above poster put it best...when over half your market size is undersampled, how realistic is that? Sounds funny to me...
