KNWA Back on Air
This from an e-mailer: "According to the Spook's blog, KNWA just resumed broadcasting over the air on Wed Aug 31 - whew! Three weeks?!"
KNWA was knocked off the air August 10th by a power surge that caused a catastrophic failure at one of KNWA’s transmitters. Cable and satellite dish viewers were able to recieve the station's signal.

3 weeks is nothing - the station gets knocked off the air nightly . . . . .
It doesn't count as being off the air, if you just skip the channel
That's true - it doesn't. So what's your point?
So, if your are not going to watch the station in the first place, why complain when they are not on the air!!!
But what if you *are* trying to watch the station and it repeatedly goes off the air 3 times each day during a newscast? I know it's hard to think that I would actually watch . . . . . . it's hard to think that anyone would be watching, but then again, how can they when the station is repeatedly going off the air?
is this happening on sat dish or cable?
Both, from what I've heard. I've got Dish, and it's definitely happening there
Yes, both. I have Dish. Off and on again. And a big "shout out" to KNWA GM Blake Russell!
