Hogs in Hollywood Coverage
The following was sent a few days ago and got lost in the tip box:
KNWA and KARK sends Bo Mattingly, Matt Turner and Rick Katzfey to Hollywood to cover the Hogs in Hollywood. They have a full crew down there.
KHOG sends new sports director and Tiffany Stewart.
KFSM sends NO ONE!

Considering the outcome of the game, any manager who sent a crew to that debacle should reconsider future road trips to cover the ha ha hawgs!

Katzfey's a used car salesman. . . .
I'm not sure what motive you have for calling Katzfey a "used car salesman".
I think he is a really great guy, and I found him to be very willing to help out those who are struggling getting started in this business.
Yeah, I agree. Katzfey is a good man. Meteorological degree, AMS seal - won a regional emmy and was nominated for another. What makes you think he's a used car salesman? Because he likes to have fun?
KFSM looks pretty smart, saved some big time money on a waste of a trip. Why did KHOG send Tiffany Stewart? she must have done some favors for someone.
I wouldn't call it a waste of a trip. Today, it's the most talked about subject in Arkansas. Losing that big is news and KFSM wasn't there to cover it.
Put Katzfey on a "real" station and he owns the market. 40/29 should come looking for Katzfey when Salser's contract is up.
Didn't see any coverage, but I wonder about sending a meteorologist to the Hawg game in Los Angeles? I don't believe KNWA sent a meteorologist to Katrina. (And the KARK staffer doesn't count.)
When the team started to win, that's when you should send someone. KFSM definitely made the right choice. KNWA and KHOG lost some money that definitely could've been put to better use.
