KATV Announces New Digital Signal

Source: KATV.com KATV President and General Manager Dale Nicholson is pleased to announce that Channel 7 has just begun broadcasting a beautiful new digital signal on DirecTV and Dish Network. The digital video and audio of KATV is the best local satellite customers have ever had.

Engineers, including KATV Director of Engineering Allen Finne, have been working feverishly to install state of the art gear that immediately improves the signal quality going into the homes of satellite customers in Arkansas. Viewers will see more vivid, digital video and will hear the improvements with the new digital audio.

In addition, customers whose satellite service provides high definition programming will be amazed at the pristine quality of KATV’s HD signal. KATV provides local viewers with HD programming like Desperate Housewives, Dancing With The Stars, The View, Good Morning America, ABC World News Tonight, ABC Sports and Raycom Sports, which includes SEC football and basketball.
