New GM Named for Shreveport Station

Raycom Media has named a Louisiana native to head KSLA/Channel 12/Shreveport.  Joe Sciortino will becomes Vice President and General Manager following the retirement of James Smith.  Sciortino comes to the ArkLaTex from Hattiesburg, MS where he held the same job title at the Raycom station there.  

Prior to moving to Mississippi Sciortino was General Sales Manager at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas.  Sciortino's first day at KSLA will be April 4th.
