Welcome to Arkansas, Matt.
Sinclair says hello, no please do this pro republican report.
Well maybe if they are a republican company it will give some balance in this town. THV's liberal loons (Craig) and with KARK loosing Jessica's liberal a$$. The stations will start taking a more balanced approach. After all Arkansas did jus turn red in the last election.
good grief i will never understand why folks want to bring politics into everything. what does politics have to do in reporting the weather...sports...non political news.
Exactly. How can you be Red or blue when the bulk of local news is shooting and traffic reports, jail escapees? I mean seriously dude? Last night the major story was a barge hitting bridges in lr along the river...the leading station gave it 3 mins at the top of the newscast before they switched back tom reading jail reports. Unbalanced on content yes, politics - hardly.
NO time for politics or other news-worthy stories. Must show all attempted killings, killings, holdups, burglaries, car wrecks and anything else that is easy to find. Tune those scanners up.Yep. It's home!

Who in the tweet is "GeneKATV"?
That's their "Saturday Daybreak Sports Reporter". Just a really weird looking guy with no talent to make up for the lack of camera friendliness. I hear they are just throwing him a bone though for kissing Sully's ass whenever he bends over, and he's just a photog most of the time.
Local TV news may be going the way of the dinosaur -- soon to be extinct. I very seldom watch. Get my news from the Internet. The reason has to do with what a previous poster said -- there's no original content / storytelling. Every station follows the scanner traffic which is a waste of my time so I choose to watch ESPN Sportscenter or one of the other 200 channels I get with satellite.
Maybe it is the picture I found, but does he look like their reporter Justin Louis?
Gene looks and talks like a villain from Scooby Doo.
When does this guy start?
