After 13-years...today is my last day to work at 40/29 News. I've taken a job at our Hearst station in Kansas City, KMBC. It's a new adventure that David and I are very excited to tackle. I have loved my job at 40/29...the people, the stories and the responsibility holding government agencies accountable. I will miss my Work Family...a group that is being very kind and generous to me today.

She will be deeply missed! I remember working with her back when she was an intern, cutting her teeth in the business. KHBS/KHOG's loss is KC's gain! Best wishes Melissa!

He's not replacing anyone, He's doing traffic... Which I never really understood why traffic is so important when you have one major traffic route.

It's Greg spending money where it isn't needed. Why is he so focused on breaking news and traffic?

Because that's what Hearst wants him to focus on

I'd disagree with the one major traffic route, but if you want to do traffic, you need to have almost instant access to accidents and incidents. Northwest Arkansas and AHTD do not have that framework here.

I'm watching the continuing coverage of the severe weather that has been constant since about 5 PM. It's approaching 10 PM and Paige and Daniel look so pissed. I can't blame them. Drew is keeping his cool, but he's getting out! I'm going to miss that guy.
