Former KATV Anchor/Arkansas Native Coming Home

May left Little Rock in 1998 to become anchor in Boston then in Philadelphia.  KATV News Director Nick Genty told AB.com, "We're still working on exactly what Chris will be doing, but anchor is his obvious strength," Genty said. "I can say that we're very excited to have him back."

His first day on air will be August 1st.

“The sheriff is entitled to say what he wants,” KSLA news director Jayne Rubin told ABC affiliate KTBS. Rubin said the station added new information to the story after she learned of the situation.

“We regularly hold public officials accountable. But we must also hold ourselves accountable,” KSLA Joe Sciortino told viewers in an on-air editorial. “After looking into the story, our correction and follow up should have come sooner and been more transparent
